Are my photos safe and private?

Short Answer:
Your photos are treated with the same level of privacy as medical records. We never share, reuse, or publish them, and we never use them to train AI. A few editing steps rely on third-party AI tools — the exact ones, and what we can and can’t guarantee, are listed below.
Privacy isn’t a feature — it’s a foundation
From day one, photo privacy has been at the heart of how we operate. Not as a selling point, but as a core principle. You’re trusting us with personal, sometimes deeply meaningful images — and we never take that lightly.
Your photos are never shared. Period.
We don’t use customer photos in our marketing.
We don’t show them on our website.
We don’t upload them to social media.
We don’t even reuse them as samples — even with your permission.
Every photo you see on our site is based on stock images.
No exceptions.
Who can access your files
Every edit is handled by our own team of editors — not a marketplace of freelancers. Our editors work from secure facilities using company-owned Mac and Linux systems, and each team member is bound by legally enforceable NDAs to protect customer confidentiality.
Even internally, access is tightly limited to only what’s necessary to fulfill your order. If a photo requires editing by one team member, only that person can access it. Your content is never viewed by unnecessary eyes, even within our own team.
Do you use AI tools? Is my photo used to train AI?
We never use your photos to train AI. Some steps rely on third-party AI tools: Topaz software runs locally on our own computers, so your photos are never uploaded to Topaz; Adobe Firefly processes images in Adobe’s cloud, and some Firefly features use models from Google and OpenAI. Adobe’s terms state that user content is not used to train generative AI, and Adobe says its agreements with these partners say the same. Because those commitments sit between Adobe and its partners rather than in our own contracts, we can’t guarantee them.

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data — both in transit and at rest. Your password is never stored in plain text. Even in the unlikely event of a database breach, the files and login data remain encrypted and unreadable.
