Do I need to prepare anything before I upload my photo?

Short Answer:

“No prep needed. Just upload your photo, say what feels off — and we’ll handle everything else.”

No fancy terms, no setup — just start

You don’t need to do anything special before uploading your photo. No need to research editing tools, write a detailed brief, or prepare reference files (unless you want to).

Just upload the photo and tell us — in plain, everyday words — what’s bothering you. For example:

  • “The lake water looks dull”
  • “I like the pose, but my face looks tired”
  • “Can you make the background feel warmer?”

That’s all we need to get started.

We handle the technical stuff

Our editors are trained to figure out what tool, technique, or sequence works best. You don’t need to worry about whether it’s color grading, masking, retouching, or background replacement — that’s our job.

In fact, trying to be overly technical can sometimes slow things down. The more natural and instinctive your feedback is, the more accurately we can translate it into results.

Speak like you would to a friend

We always say: if you can explain it in a text message to a friend, it’s enough for us .

Whether you want the photo to look brighter, cleaner, more magical, or just more “you” — that’s your part. We’ll handle the rest behind the scenes.

Optional, but helpful: references or notes

If you do have something extra — like a sample photo you love, or a quick voice/video note — feel free to share it. But it’s completely optional. Most customers don’t send anything extra, and that’s perfectly okay.

TL;DR: upload and talk like a human

No prep. No jargon. No pressure. Just show us the photo and tell us what you’re hoping for.

That’s enough to get great results.
